- Hot oil treatment: Place bottle in hot (not boiling) water for 10 minutes. Divide hair into sections and mist water on each section with a spray bottle. Saturate damp hair in warm oil and gently comb through each section. Cover with a plastic cap and let sit for 15 minutes. For maximum results, use a conditioning cap or hooded dryer.
